Colorful tree all year round: rich ornages in fall, yello green to sage green through spring and summer.
A deciduous conifer well-suited toward either dry or wet land, though it is well-known for its ability to survive heavily saturated soil in the flood plains of the southeastern United States. A great shade tree once it grows.
 
Plant in full sun. Happy in a variety of soils.
